A 4-day workshop developed for Professor Chris Bobel’s Radical Voices of Resistance: Gender, Race and US Social Movements class at the University of Massachusetts Boston, Spring 2024. 

For their final projects, Bobel’s students created podcasts to explore the roles, experiences, and accomplishments of activist women in the U.S throughout the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
 

Featured activists included: Sojourner Truth, Harriet Tubman, Ida B Wells, Mother Jones, Fannie Lou Hamer, Ella Baker, Jane Goodall and Angela Davis.
